My laboratory works in cancer research via interdisciplinary approaches: biochemistry, topobiology, cell signalling, molecular cell biology, pharmacology & pathobiology. Our interest is in mechanistic requirement of Nrf1 (and Nrf2 & 3) for cell homeostasis and organ integrity, and their contribution into cancer prevention against cellular stress and tumour promoters. We focus on the mechanisms whereby Nrf1 (along with Nrf2 & Nrf3) is regulated in response to distinct pathophysiological stresses.
